How to Apply to the Pinellas County Center for the Arts
1. Obtain a Portal User ID and Password before you apply.
If you already have a Portal ID and Password it is not necessary to get another. If you do not already have a Portal User ID and Password, you must go to a nearby school and ask to get one. You must bring photo ID with you.
2. Application Period: 8:00 am January 7th, 2012 – 8 am January 20 , 2012
Apply online using your Portal User ID and Password through the Student Reservation System (SRS) on the district website, www.pcsb.org.
Programs for The Pinellas County Center for the Arts are:Dance
Instrumental Music
Vocal Music
Performance Theatre
Musical Theatre
Technical Theatre
Visual Arts
3. Once you have applied through the Student Reservation System (SRS),
you will be notified by mail with a date and time for your student to audition for the programs you have selected. You may apply for more than one program; however your student must do an audition for each program they apply for. Auditions will be held on Saturday January 14,21,28 and February 4
4. February 9, 2012 till February 16th, 2012
Log on to the Student Reservation System (SRS) during this period to accept a program invitation. This is the only way you are able to accept an invitation to the PCCA Program. You may only accept one program. If this step is not completed, your application and audition will be invalid.
5. Late applications:
Please go to: www.pcsb.org website and do it on line in starting in April.
